Exercise is good for so many things:

  • muscles
  • bones
  • body composition
  • skin

Yes, exercise is good for your skin because:

  • Exercise increases blood flow, bringing oxygen and nutrients to the skin.
  • Sweating gets rid of impurities and detoxifies the skin.
  • Drinking plenty of purified water to stay hydrated during exercise (and the rest of the day) keeps your skin radiant (plump) and healthy.
  • The better you feel–the better you look!

glo.therapeutics Clear Complexion Pads make cleaning your face before a workout quick and easy.

Before Exercise
Best tips:

  • Swipe skin with cleansing pad (such as glo.minerals’ Clear Complexion Pads) to remove face make-up (even high-quality mineral makeup) — because we tend to rub our face as sweat drips, causing us to push the makeup, sweat, and other debris into the pores we’re trying to detoxify.
  • Pre-hydrate your skin from the inside and outside: drink pure, filtered water and spritz your cleaned face with a facial hydrator such as glo.minerals hydrating mist.
  • Use a good-quality oil-free sunscreen (at least SPF 30, such as Obagi Sunshield SPF 50), designed not to clog pores, if you’re working out outside.

After Exercise
Cleanse, tone, treat, and moisturize your skin when you’re finished working out:

  • Wash your face to remove the oil/sebum produced during exercise. We recommend Image Ageless Total Cleanser.
  • Tone with a high quality product like glo.therapeutic Purifying Tonic.
  • Treat and moisturize to complete the process. We recommend Image Vital C Hydrating Repair Creme.
  • Rehydrate your body by drinking purified water!
